Pescada in six languages, with a daily summary, two-step sign-in and virus scanning
The app and its emails now speak Spanish, Italian, French, German, Portuguese and English. Accountants get one daily summary instead of an email per document, firms manage their own team, and every upload is checked for viruses.
With firms now working in five countries, this release makes Pescada feel local to each of them and easier to run every day. Everything below is available to every firm on Pescada from today, with no setup needed.
Six languages
The app, its emails and the sign-in page are now in Spanish, Italian, French, German, Portuguese and English. Each person sees Pescada in the language of their country: an accountant in the language of the firm’s country, a client in that of their company’s. Anyone can choose another language under Account. Dates, amounts and numbers follow the local format.
One daily summary instead of an email per document
Accountants now receive one email a day listing what changed for each client: new documents, confirmations, approvals and notes. Each accountant chooses the hour. What needs action straight away still arrives at once: a requested change, a blocked file, a delivery problem. Anyone who prefers one email per event can switch back. Clients keep getting an email for every document they need to see.
Built for a team
A firm’s administrators can now invite colleagues from the app, choose whether each one sees all clients or only those assigned to them, and remove access when someone leaves. A firm log records who invited whom, changed whose access, and closed or reopened which client.
Faster everyday work
- Search across all clients’ documents by title, file name, invoice number, supplier or client.
- Filters and bulk actions: narrow the list by status, period or text, then confirm or download several documents at once, as a ZIP.
- Photos from the phone: clients can take pictures of paper invoices; Pescada joins them into one PDF before sending.
- Exports for accounting software: read invoices and bank movements as CSV in each country’s format, and in DATEV format for German firms (beta).
Security
- Two-step sign-in for accountants, with an authenticator app and recovery codes. A firm can make it mandatory for its whole team.
- Signed-in devices: each person sees where their account is open and can sign out everywhere at once. Accountant sessions end after 12 hours without activity.
- Virus scanning: every uploaded file is checked. An infected file is blocked, and both the client and the firm are told at once.
Closing a client, by the rules
When a firm stops working with a client, it can close the client’s space. The client loses access at once and is told by email. The firm has 30 days to export all documents and the full log, then the space is locked. After the six-year retention period, the documents and the log are deleted for good, as the GDPR requires.
Coming next
Next come bank statements fetched straight from the client’s bank, a dedicated email address per client for forwarding documents, and online subscription for new firms.
See it working
Accounting firms in Spain, Italy, France, Germany and Portugal can request a demo. We set up a space for the firm and go through it together.
